Before adding Macros, you must enable the Developer tab on the Ribbon.
To Enable the Developer tab, from the File tab, click Options. Choose Customize Ribbon and check the Developer checkbox. When complete, click OK.
To Record a Macro, from the Developer tab, click Record Macro and give the macro a name. You will then have the option to click either Button or Keyboard to assign a button or keyboard shortcut to the new macro if you choose. When ready, click OK. Then, perform the tasks you wish to record and when finished, click Stop Recording.
To Run a Macro, click on your document where you would like your macro to run. From the Developer tab, click Macros, select a macro, and click Run.
To Edit a Macro, from the Developer tab, click Macros, select a macro and click Edit. You can modify the macro using the Visual Basic editor which will be prompted when you selected Edit. When you are finished, close out of Visual Basic.
