When you’re in Remote Desktop, a blue bar will appear along the top of your screen. This can be a nuisance as it often seems to end up in the way.
Here are a few ways to make the blue bar less intrusive:
If you hover your mouse along the left-side or right-side edge of the blue bar, you will see your mouse split into two arrows, pointing in opposite directions. This means you can adjust the size of the blue bar by left-clicking on your mouse and dragging either right or left.
You can also place your mouse in the middle of the blue bar and click and drag to move the entire thing left or right, making it so you can locate the blue bar into the least intrusive space along the top of your screen.
If you click the “unpin” button, (the button the furthest left on the blue bar, that looks like a pin through a line) you can make it so the blue bar disappears and only reappears when you hover your mouse in the location it was unpinned at.
If you have a second monitor, after you unpin the blue bar, if you move your mouse over to the other monitor and hover it at the very top of the screen, it should reappear there, and you can click the same “unpin” button to relocate the blue bar to the second monitor instead.
