1. When you are in a Teams meeting if you wiggle your mouse on the screen you will see a bar of buttons pop up on your screen (See image below)

2. In that toolbar you will want to click on the button that looks like a rectangle with an arrow inside of it. This is the screen share button

3. Once you've clicked that a menu will appear on the bottom of your screen that should look similar to the image below

4. In the menu a checkbox to "Include system audio". If you are sharing anything with audio you will want to check that box so others will be able to hear the audio as well

5. In that menu you have a couple options as to what you will be sharing which I will go over below

Desktop: Under desktop you will see "Screen #1" and possibly more screens depending on how many monitors are connected to your computer. If you are wanting to share an entire screen click whichever screen you would like to share. When you share a screen everyone in the meeting will be able to see everything you are doing on your computer

Window: Under window you will see all the individual applications that you currently have open. If you are just wanting to present one specific application (ex. PowerPoint) you can click on the application you would like to share. When you are sharing a window everyone in the meeting will only be able to see that application. So if you are sharing PowerPoint and writing an email at the same time, everyone will only see PowerPoint.

Choose whichever option suits you best

5. Once you've clicked on what you would like to share your Teams will be minimized and there will be a red border around what everyone else in the meeting will see (See image below) You will also see a small Teams window appear so you can still see who is talking in the meeting. If you would to present and still be able to see yourself and others see the article entitled "Presenting While Seeing Yourself"

6. When you would like to stop sharing move your mouse to the top of the screen and you will see a big red "Stop Presenting" button. Click that and your Teams will open back up and you will be done screen sharing

Now you can present during a meeting!
