• Cellphones, tablets, keyboards and mice are all considered a high risk COVID-19 source of transmission.
  • Our current recommendation is to clean your devices at least four times each day and again whenever you have placed your phone down on a surface where contact transmission may have occurred.
  • The best way to disinfect your phone, keyboard and mouse is to clean them with spray solution containing at least 70% alcohol.
  • Things like Clorox or Lysol wipes work well to kill the virus, but can also break down the sensitive components on a phone’s touch screen and biometric readers.
  • Using an alcohol spray and a clean micro-fibre cloth is your best bet to sanitize your phones, keyboards and mice without damaging them.  However, be careful not to spray moisture into the headphone jack and other connectors.
